Why Choose Eventide? Known across the world today as an industry leader and innovator in recording, broadcast, communications and avionics products, Eventide came to be all because co-founder Steve Katz asked fellow co-founder Richard Factor to design a device that could locate the transport control to a specific point on an analog tape recorder. It was studio owner and co-founder Orville Greene that would originally finance this project. The result of this challenge eventually became the Ampex MM1000 tape search unit.

For over 30 years now, Eventide has produced a string of industry standards. Products such as the Instant Phaser®, H910 Harmonizer®, H949 Harmonizer®, Reverb 2016 and the H3000 Ultra-Harmonizer® were all popular with many professional studios in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Their sonic signature can be found on popular recordings both old and new. More recent additions to the line include new stompbox guitar effects pedals known as the H9 Harmonizer® series, the H9000 flagship studio processor, assorted software plug-ins incorporating Structural Effects technology, the MixingLink® portable microphone preamp, DDL•500 a 500 series digital delay line and the new EuroDDL synthesizer module.
